The cold-pressing process for Healtheries Cod Liver Oil retains the naturally occurring vitamins and trace minerals from the original fish liver. No solvents are used in the extraction of oil.

Healtheries Cod Liver Oil is a cold-filtered oil made from fresh codfish livers and is an excellent source of Vitamins A and D, as well as Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids.

Vitamin A is essential for the health of the skin, respiratory and digestive systems, and Vitamin D supports the immune system and enhances the absorption of calcium, thus improving bone and teeth strength.

Omega 3 fatty acids (Docosahexanoic Acid - DHA, and Eicosapentanoic Acid - EPA) are synthesised by the body to form prostaglandins, specialist hormones which play a vital role in helping to promote general health and reduce inflammatory conditions, especially of the cardiovascular system.

Healtheries Cold Pressed Cod Liver Oil has no added preservatives or antioxidants, and since all fats and oils will go rancid if exposed to the air or bright light, especially sunlight, this oil is packed in brown bottles and should be stored away from direct light and heat.
